We are volunteers and professional people caring for the body, mind and soul. We are an international movement registered in India as a religious and charitable organization.

The Salvation Army was formed in England in 1865 by William Booth, who believed that an essential part of his ministry was to fight against poverty and social injustice. This remains true for The Salvation Army today.
